Abbu Saeed Khudri Radi Allahu Anhu ne kaha ke jab is sawal ka hal hamaray samnay aa gaya to hum ne un sahib ki tareef ki. Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya ke bhalai se to sirf bhalai hi paida hoti hai lekin yeh maal sirsabz aur Khushgawar ( ghaas ki terhan ) hai aur jo cheez bhi Rabiy ke mausam mein ugti hain woh hiras ke sath khanay walon ko halaak kar deti hain ya halakat ke qareeb pouncha deti hain. siwaye is janwar ke jo pait bhar ke khaye ke jab is ne kha liya aur is ki dono kookh bhar gayeen to is ne Sooraj ki taraf mun kar ke jagali kar li aur phir pakhana pishaab kar diya aur is ke baad phir lout ke kha liya aur yeh maal bhi bohat sheree hai jis ne usay haq ke sath liya aur haq mein kharch kiya to woh behtareen zariya hai aur jis ne usay najaaiz tareeqa se haasil kiya to woh is shakhs jaisa hai jo khata hai lekin aasooda nahi hota .

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ میں تمہارے متعلق سب سے زیادہ اس سے خوف کھاتا ہوں کہ جب اللہ تعالیٰ زمین کی برکتیں تمہارے لیے نکال دے گا۔ پوچھا گیا زمین کی برکتیں کیا ہیں؟ فرمایا کہ دنیا کی چمک دمک ، اس پر ایک صحابی نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا کیا بھلائی سے برائی پیدا ہو سکتی ہے؟ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس پر خاموش ہو گئے اور ہم نے خیال کیا کہ شاید آپ پر وحی نازل ہو رہی ہے۔ اس کے بعد اپنی پیشانی کو صاف کرنے لگے اور دریافت فرمایا، پوچھنے والے کہاں ہیں؟ پوچھنے والے نے کہا کہ حاضر ہوں۔ ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ جب اس سوال کا حل ہمارے سامنے آ گیا تو ہم نے ان صاحب کی تعریف کی۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ بھلائی سے تو صرف بھلائی ہی پیدا ہوتی ہے لیکن یہ مال سرسبز اور خوشگوار (گھاس کی طرح) ہے اور جو چیز بھی ربیع کے موسم میں اگتی ہیں وہ حرص کے ساتھ کھانے والوں کو ہلاک کر دیتی ہیں یا ہلاکت کے قریب پہنچا دیتی ہیں۔ سوائے اس جانور کے جو پیٹ بھر کے کھائے کہ جب اس نے کھا لیا اور اس کی دونوں کوکھ بھر گئیں تو اس نے سورج کی طرف منہ کر کے جگالی کر لی اور پھر پاخانہ پیشاب کر دیا اور اس کے بعد پھر لوٹ کے کھا لیا اور یہ مال بھی بہت شیریں ہے جس نے اسے حق کے ساتھ لیا اور حق میں خرچ کیا تو وہ بہترین ذریعہ ہے اور جس نے اسے ناجائز طریقہ سے حاصل کیا تو وہ اس شخص جیسا ہے جو کھاتا ہے لیکن آسودہ نہیں ہوتا۔

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: Allah's Apostle said, The thing I am afraid of most for your sake, is the worldly blessings which Allah will bring forth to you. It was said, What are the blessings of this world? The Prophet said, The pleasures of the world. A man said, Can the good bring forth evil? The Prophet kept quiet for a while till we thought that he was being inspired divinely. Then he started removing the sweat from his forehead and said, Where is the questioner? That man said, I (am present). Abu Sa`id added: We thanked the man when the result (of his question) was such. The Prophet said, Good never brings forth but good. This wealth (of the world) is (like) green and sweet (fruit), and all the vegetation which grows on the bank of a stream either kills or nearly kills the animal that eats too much of it, except the animal that eats the Khadira (a kind of vegetation). Such an animal eats till its stomach is full and then it faces the sun and starts ruminating and then it passes out dung and urine and goes to eat again. This worldly wealth is (like) sweet (fruit), and if a person earns it (the wealth) in a legal way and spends it properly, then it is an excellent helper, and whoever earns it in an illegal way, he will be like the one who eats but is never satisfied.
